I’ve always been a storyteller. From my fascination with comics as a kid to my passion for interactive media in my youth, I’ve always used words and pictures to tell stories. The medium may change, but the passion remains the same.
It is my craft and my life. I’m a marketer, web developer, and entrepreneur. I’ve helped companies like Cars.com and Procter & Gamble communicate and convert, either as an employee or in a consulting role.
My first passion is writing. I’ve been published in marketing, tech, and lifestyle magazines, usually in a content marketing capacity, appearing in a wide variety of digital publications, including Marketing Profs, Marketing Agency Insider, Social Media Today, Built In Chicago, Lifehacker, and many more.
I like to consider myself a Swiss-army knife. I have extensive web development such as;
- Technical & Onsite SEO
- CMS: WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore
- Adobe Creative Suite
I also have years of UX experience, including:
- Information architecture
- Conversion rate optimization
- Onboarding design
- Curriculum design
- Email marketing
- Video production
“…two sides to every story…”
As a native Clevelander and an optimist, I understand there are two sides to every story. One involves the audience, the other involves the teller.
The best storytellers listen to feedback from the audience and uses it to improve their experience. I’ve taken this approach in marketing, product management, and storytelling. It’s taken me to Chicago, where I worked to help others cross the threshold into the digital age of communication.
